Every time I walk into my house and see this painting I enjoy it more and more. The depth of colour, the contrast of light and dark evoke for me elements of reflections. It never fails to amaze me how interesting this painting is. Commissioning a painting from Sonia was the best decision I've ever made. She worked with me and created a very special gift. Thank you

SONIA'S STORY

Sonia Behan is an intuitive artist who lets rhythm and spontaneity guide her creative process. Working predominantly with oils, she crafts pieces characterized by dense layers, rich tones, and vibrant colors. Sonia's unique approach involves naming her works with simple descriptions like "green 1" or "red 3," encouraging viewers to form their own interpretations. Her paintings, while similar in theme, are never identical due to her instinctive, hands-on method. Currently, she exhibits at McDaniels in Brittas Bay and is available for commissions.
